Ana Barroso
Ph candidate in Artistic Studies (Audiovisual and Film Studies), University of Lisbon.
She has also participated in several international conferences and has published several articles in national and international journals and magazines.
Besides researching, she has been developing creative work in experimental video, with several screenings and exhibitions. The video “Confessional Acts” was awarded with the prize for Best International Avant-garde Short film in the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, 2009.
